Online Casinos And Operating Licenses

Sunday, 5 September, 2010

It can be really hard to find an online casino that is fair. The choice is vast, each one is different and they all offer differing service levels. It’s also not helped by the fact that the Internet is full of fake online casino reviews which can make it hard for people to get the truth on casinos.

There are all these fake reviews because they are written by the operatives of the casinos and their affiliates. In order to attract players, these operatives and affiliates will compose good reviews that will entice them to join their casinos.

This article isn’t going to drone on about the negative points of affiliates however. I see no harm whatsoever in people writing honest reviews about casinos. There are indeed many honest casino promoters around. It is wrong however to lie about the quality of a casino and many people sadly do this.

Looking at a casino’s license is always a way of spotting the decent ones. So, if a casino is licensed in Gibraltar, this is a good thing as they will be governed by UK law. There’s also a company that provides licenses called the Alderney Gambling Commission and casinos Licensed by them are usually fair.

A casino that I have found to be one of the fairest out there is Totesport who are licensed by the AGC. Sky Vegas are another casino licensed by them. Companies such as these ones however are predominantly based in the UK and are bound by the strict UK laws.

This is what you want to look for in an online casino, a solid gambling license and a company that operates in the UK. You wont find anywhere that will treat you more fairly if you come across a casino that has both of these good qualities to show for itself.

I Was Tricked Into Playing At An Online Casino

Thursday, 12 August, 2010

There are countless online casinos available within the UK at the moment but not all of them are any good. I guarantee that one of the first casinos you find will have really rubbish customer service, slow payout times and treat you really unfairly.

My experiences at some online casinos have been very bad indeed. This was the case when I played at casino.com, I won some money but because I played with bonus money they just took my winnings plus the bonus off me.

They did this because I hadn’t completed the wagering requirements for the bonus. So after I had everything taken off me, I still had to meet their requirements with no bonus.

I was unfortunately helpless here, I knew full well that this was a scam but there was nothing that I could do about it. After you say yes to their terms and conditions you are theirs and must obey their rules.

If this had been highlighted to me before I signed up and I still went ahead then this would have been my fault, but an affiliate told me to accept this bonus. They informed me that there will be big money to win if I accepted this bonus.

I was clearly been told lies here, I can see that now and I feel really very bad indeed about it. Since this time I have enjoyed myself at some online casinos and had more bad experiences at others.

A favourite of mine is Totesport Casino and I have been playing there regularly for a few years now. I still play there after all this time because they operate a fair service. If casino.com offered a fair service they would also retain more players so I simply cannot understand why they don’t.

Obviously casinos such as casino.com only care about quick profits from treating people unfairly which is a short sited business model. Simply providing a better service would in the long term make them more money as they would be keeping their players.

Recent MMO Updates Cause Problems, Confusion For Gamers

Friday, 25 June, 2010

As popular Internet games like Warcraft, Aion, and EVE Online all release major updates, players are looking out for updated guides to help them to make the most of the new game content and features.

NCSoft’s Aion recently announced their 1.9 update, which introduced several major gameplay changes. CCP’s EVE Online has just released their Tyrannis update, which has totally modified the dynamics of the player driven economy with new features that allow players to mine and have interaction with planets.

Activision Blizzard’s flagship game, World of Warcraft, is shaping up for the Cataclysm expansion, which will introduce not only new search content, but also new races and classes.

All these updates show that MMOs can continue to provide gameplayers with excitement and challenge. However at the same time, players who have worked on systems and tactics to beat quests and complete missions will find that these updates will send them back to the drawing board.

“It’s been an issue when you have regular content updates and expansions ” explains TheGameGuideHQ.com’s Kirsty Johnson. “Players spend a lot of time working together to find the right builds – the right mix of gear, talents, and gameplay – to beat the hardest sides of these games. Then an update comes along and everything changes. ”

With so many guides to select from, TheGameGuideHQ.com’s easily read reviews and straightforward ratings quickly show at a peek what each guide has to offer . Gamers can make informed choices without wasting their money – and all the guides come with money back guarantees.

“With a number of these games costing over $15 a month, many players finish up annoyed and confused when their methods don’t work ” says Kirsty. “that’s the reason why we promote game guides that are regularly updated. Once a player buys, say, a whole World of Warcraft Guide, it’ll be updated each time a growth is released. This way, players can quickly see what new methods they have to use to be successful in the new missions and content. ”

TheGameGuideHQ.com provides unprejudiced reviews of top game guides, recommending only the absolute best guides to players. All game guides are reviewed by experience gameplayers, who have played everything from early 8bit platformers to the most recent MMOs.

TheGameGuideHQ is created by game-players, for game-players. With EVE Online guide reviews, World of Warcraft guide reviews, and a new section for Aion guides, TheGameGuideHQ helps you choose the most effective and helpful guides for your fave MMOs and web games.
